Day 63! Let’s Journal!

day63
I was finally able to turn most of the garden beds and prepare them for planting.  White Sage, cucumbers, butternut squash, and more!  In my spare time, I’ve been making a quilt square a day — eventually, I will finish my moo-cow and cherries quilt!

We sit at 63 quarantine days and counting!  Today’s challenge consists of a few short questions about the last two months (or so).  We lived through it — let’s boost our empowerment by reviewing our experiences.  If you skip a question because it makes you feel uncomfortable, that’s okay.  Take the time to determine why it stirs particular emotions.  Ready?  Here goes!

  1.  The best experience I had in the last 60 days was…
  2.   I learned something super cool in the last 60 days.  I learned…
  3.   Looking back on my experiences of the last 60 days, I am most grateful for…
  4.   I so totally did not like…
  5.   The most important lesson I learned was…
  6.   What do I wish I would have known at the start of the pandemic?
  7.   What is the most spiritual lesson/enlightenment experience I had?
  8.   Now that I have gone through this unusual experience, what in one paragraph would I write so that someone who reads it 50 years from now can benefit?

Big Hugs!
Peace with the Gods!
Peace with Nature!
Peace within!

Silver!

  1. Thank you so much 🐺 🌹🌹🌹 I have slept for three hours, and I have to rush to shopping today. But I shall answer to this later today (after taking nap 😴) Now my brains feel like a jelly 😂 Have a lovely day. I promise to answer when I am not this tired. Awesome idea!

  2. The best experience I had in the last 60 days was having the support of Silver RavenWolf as a daily teacher!
I learned something super cool in the last 60 days. Actually, I’ve learned so much my head is spinning, but I learning about and reading Hedgewitch has been the best! The techniques are so simple, practical, and helpful. I just love this book!
Looking back on my experiences of the last 60 days, I am most grateful for my home base and a loving spouse. I am so lucky!
I so totally did/do not like the ignorant statements frequently made by our president and folks who follow his way of thinking – yuck, yuck, yuck! It makes me feel totally disgusted to acknowledge the total ignorance and even write this down!
The most important lesson I learned was to trust my instincts.
What do I wish I would have known at the start of the pandemic? That wearing a mask in public places and protecting my eyes is so important.
What is the most spiritual lesson/enlightenment experience I had? Learning about the behavior of haints and how to control them.
Now that I have gone through this unusual experience, what in one paragraph would I write so that someone who reads it 50 years from now can benefit?
I am a survivor of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and I believe that this was possible, because I learned at a very young age from my parents, who survived the Great Depression, how to be independent and self-sufficient. I will tell you that it is hugely useful to have a good “home base” that offers you maximum protection from what is going on “out there.” I am fortunate to live on 10 acres in the country. We are not rich, but we bought the property 25 years ago, when we were working and it was extremely cheap, with the idea that it would allow us to be sovereign to some extent in retirement, which luckily it is turning out to be. Our property and our home have helped us weather many storms including this one. We have a flow well, which taps into a huge aquaphor, so we have plenty of water. It is also helpful to have at least 6 months of stored provisions in your pantry for emergencies. Don’t forget the popcorn and the birdseed! We live in a hurricane zone, so we learned this lesson from the start. You may not always have “fresh” food, but you can survive on canned and dehydrated foods. Don’t forget soaps, detergents, cleaning/disinfecting products, essential supplements and medicines! Inventory – keep track – all the time! Also, it is essential to have plenty of good reading material, crafting supplies and tools (if you’re so inclined) and anything else that will offer you a distraction should you be quarantined, or stuck at home for any reason. I am blessed to have been carefully instructed about survival techniques of many types and I encourage you to do the same!

  3. The best experience I had in the last 60 days was…the feeing I am not alone on my magick path and the opportunity to learn and share with my Spirit tribe
I learned something super cool in the last 60 days. I learned… more egg magick!
Loking back on my experiences of the last 60 days, I am most grateful for…the sharing and the new ideas and inspiration! Thank You for being here with us every day and thak You for Your Love and Healing and Care! I Love You!
I so totally did not like…my panick attacks.
The most important lesson I learned was…to be patient
What do I wish I would have known at the start of the pandemic? not to buy so much things, the life goes on and nothing has stopped …only the people…hopefully…to think …to find out that People are not the most important species, plants and animals and all living beings, all Nature is as important as humans are.
What is the most spiritual lesson/enlightenment experience I had? – that there are certain kinds of souls that can reckognise each other by their energy signature and this happened when I was reading about your memories about your grandmother and father…then I remembered something I carry in my soul memories from this incarnation when I was a kid, I realised why I am so attracted to the things I am attracted to, my old soul is now remembering so many things and they come from many life times and this time it is a gathering of everything I know and experienced…returning to the SELF
Now that I have gone through this unusual experience, what in one paragraph would I write so that someone who reads it 50 years from now can benefit?
One can communicate with each thing/being. This is through open heart – mind connection and through connecting consciously with the being/crystal, plant, animal, element, elemental, star, planet, galaxy, universe/. Your consiousness is where your focus is. So foccussed attention and concentration and heart-mind transmission is possible and each of us carry this skill within. We are who have all answers within. And from within we connect with all. In us is the link that connects us with the Source of ALL THAT IS. We can travel time while being in NO TIME that is the NOW moment, everlasting and eternal. Because time is only a 3d illusion we experience while incarnated on Earth. It is needed for our evolution as souls, as facets of ALL THAT IS. Our memories can take us into the Past and our wishes can take us into the Future and this is how we travel time while always residing in the NOW – the most powerful position. Centered into the Heart is our strongest position …

  4. The worst thing about this pandemic, besides the deaths and suffering, is the ugly politics. All the backseat drivers that think they can do so much better than the driver because all they have had to do is shoot off their mouths. The virus came from China, it wasn’t an accident, and yet the victims are all pointing fingers at each other instead of getting through this together. Sorry, Sharon, but the man in charge was the right man at the right time to steer us through this and we will get through this. What a shame the ugly politics even had to seep onto this site.

      1. Sorry, Silver. But a couple hundred years ago, many of us would have been hung or burned at the stake. This was not a group in “witch” I expected to hear someone condemn half the country as ignorant for not agreeing with a certain viewpoint.

  5. I am grateful I celebrated a milestone birthday on a cruise 🚢 around Hawaii Just Before this COVID 19!
Something really great I learned about is Zoom. I live in Raleigh with no car ($ imagine the savings!) I walked, took the bus, or took Lyft. I moved here about a year and 1/2 ago, with loads of opportunities to socialize and make a life for myself. I’m going to all kinds of meetings, happenings and circles on Zoom. And the farthest I have to go is my living room.
As far as hugs and touch, I’m thinking of adopting a dog.
I have a joy that Mother Earth is healing a little with us humans putting out less gases that pollute the air and oceans. Spiritual lesson and passion: There are pictures/ views of Earth that show that the air in places is getting cleaner during this time. When we get to our new Normal, I hope some lessons will be learned, and we will be much more careful about transportation and the pollution that goes with it: carpool, use park and ride with public transportation, purchase hybrid or electric cars and simply ride the bus.

  6. Amen sister!!! And he’ll be the one to yank us out of this economic downfall over the next 4 years. That is, if people finally take the red pill and yank themselves out of the Matrix before November.

    1. That was in response to Catwoman. I don’t know why it posted as a separate comment thread. Lol!

      1. Amen, indeed! Some things are meant to be. The man in charge when the pandemic started was meant to be there. And I have a very strong feeling that he will be in charge for the next four years.

  7. I’d write a short, and to the point, letter to the people of 50 years from now:

“Dear humans of 50 years from now,

We just experienced a shit storm like no other, and I’d like to share some wisdom with you that is essential for your survival in a media-based world.

Learn to be like Sherlock Holmes and get all the clues and facts before believing anything that the media hacks spew out of their pie holes; same goes for peers who regurgitate what the media hacks have already spewed. Once you believe hearsay, you will never open your eyes to the truth of any matter ever again. While researching, beware of false and biased information that has a hidden agenda. Be wise enough to recognize that agenda, and keep on searching. Be wary of any and all information that’s being used as a way to instill fear and panic, b/c it’s a means of control and it negates free will. Humans were born with free will for a reason, and keeping yours will save your life in times of crisis.

Use the wisdom of the past to guide you in the future, and let history be your “How To” or “What Not To Do” guide for the future. This is the key to keeping civilization in tact, and continuing the existence of the human race.

    Sincerely,

An old fart who’s giving you a good swift kick in the patoot.”

    Lol!
