Day Fourteen of the Great Release Program
by Silver RavenWolf 2020

3rd Qtr Virgo Moon
Virgo is full speed ahead this cycle, lending positive energy to organization, safety work, analysis, investigation, healing, errands, and overall solution-oriented.  Good day for making poppets and spirit dolls.

Today’s Challenge: Part I — Taking advantage of the Virgo moon – Organize and clear as much home paperwork as possible.  Part II — Walkthrough your living area — congratulate yourself on all you have accomplished so far.  What are you most proud of?  As you move around, does the area feel lighter to you?  Next, crank up the music, put your dancing shoes on, and give your living area a rattle bath.  When you are finished, plan what you would like to accomplish before the program ends.  Part III — This is the 7th day of your 2nd week — another goal accomplished!  Reward yourself!  Choose a new goal for the third week of the program.

My Progress — I managed to clear out two corners of the craft room, and not on purpose — I was looking for something.  What?  Oh, my soap cutter, which didn’t work right, so I used that pretty, glittering mega-knife in my kitchen utensil drawer.  Problem solved.  I bought a shrink wrap machine over a year ago that never worked.  I had to move it when I was looking for my soap cutter, so I figured I would trundle it right on out to the trash.  On my way through the house my son asked me why I was throwing out a brand new machine.  When I explained he offered to take a look at it.  I’m lucky he’s electrically oriented.  When he opened it he discovered that whoever put it together didn’t attach the wires inside the machine.  Fixed!

shelfpaperI’m still working on that offending hall closet.  Three shelves done.  Half the floor finished.  One shelf to go — the tippy top one.  New shelf paper in one set of kitchen cabinet shelves.  I have 3 cabinets to go.  Which reminded me of the nasty shelf paper when I was a kid.  I’d forgotten all about those products and how much I hated helping my Mother put the shelf paper in the cabinets because you had to cut out a small piece in the center and fold down the little design so that when you opened the cabinet you saw cherries, or stripes, or whatever that fit perfectly around the front frame — shudder.  Some memories are best left forgotten.  My reward for the past few day’s accomplishments included pouring the peppermint eucalyptus soap and learning to paper piece a rooster for a quilt I’m making.  What have you accomplished?

  1. Today no doubt it is perfect to fix the various cards scattered around the house, the last days have been hectic, so I managed to do only the morning ritual and the rattlesnake bath. I admit however that the UFO box is already present in my sewn corner….. The problem is just finding time to finish them. Maybe because I’m very quick to do my embroidery, but then I try to postpone the assembly. I’m not very good with traditional sewing. However it is true that the house looks lighter, still thanks for this program and good day

  2. That soap looks wonderful! I just did a review of all that I have accomplished this week. It’s amazing how much you can get done when you put your mind to it! My goal for the week was to increase my exercise and while time to do this seems to have become elusive with our visiting friends, I have at least maintained, if not increased it. Tompte, (the name means “homestead man”), is empowered, and dedicated to his purpose. He is now in his position in Trollville with his pointer on the billboard of pictured Tarot Cards that read our year’s goals to say this year we will labor, prosper, and learn to move faster. On the water day we washed a lot of things and ate shrimp for lunch. Thursday, my mother called in distress to say her cat was ill, so we packed her up and took her to the vet. She has been very obese for her 15 years of age and has now developed cardiomyopathy and was in congestive heart failure. I have been driving the short 9 miles to Mom’s house everyday to give the cat her medicine. Mom is almost 94 and can’t handle this. Sunday, the cat got up, ate, and jumped up on Mom’s lap for the first time in over a week. Yay!!! This cat is Mom’s soul-mate… I have some Desert Sage wrapped up into smudge sticks and today I may get to make a couple of Fire Brooms with them. I have chosen my goal for week 3 – to help my spouse get a consistent night’s sleep. He is going through ‘manopause’ and wakes at that 3:00 hour unable to fall back to sleep. I have a sleep amulet tied under the head of his area on the bed, I spray with a “peaceful sleep spray” over the sleeping area, I have a sleep poppet under his mattress, and we have eliminated potentially offending food and drink. I give him sleep herbs at bedtime, but nothing works! I have been sensing some negative psychic energy around him – like some kind of sleep curse – but I can’t seem to break it. This will be my goal this week – to find an answer to this vexing problem.

    1. He may have picked it up somewhere. Wash his clothes with a bit of salt and basil, and do the takin-off — Place the spool of red thread on a magnet. Then run the thread from top of his head to his foot, then add the length of his foot. Run the thread that is his measure (that you just did) over his body 3 times. Burn it outside in a bowl of cloves. You can use the Evil Be Gone chant: Evil be gone, do not return, the horse has run off, and the bridges are burned!

      1. So, I didn’t have a magnet that my spool of red thread fit on, so I took two round ceramic magnets and stuck one on each end. I have taken his ‘measure’, passed it over him 3 times, and the thread will get burned shortly. Clothing gets washed with salt and basil a little later. I know the “Evil Be Gone” chant by heart, so I will take my rattle with me and do a chant/rattle while the thread burns on the cloves, which I just happened to have a big jar of, since I use them in my cupboards as a natural bug repellent.

      2. I burned this ‘measure’ of thread in a bowl of cloves, chanting and rattling in a sheltered spot under one of my sacred Oak trees. It was great!

  3. 🙂 My magick cupboards in order, my herbs shelves in order, two drawers in order/ my desk drawer and my make up drawer/, lots of useless things thrown out…but still I have to do much organising and cleaning. I am thinking about my next week goal 🙂 ❤ Thank You and many Blessings!

  4. That soap looks incredible! Very yummy. I’m loving these organisation jobs, I desperately need to do them and seem to be in just the right mood to get them done! Yay! Undecided on my week 3 goal yet but I’m sure something awesome will come to me. The kitchen needs a lot of attention so it will probably be in there somewhere 🙂

  5. I didn’t have papers to organize because that is one things we stay on top of! Tax papers get cared for at tax time, really only paperwork to care for. So I tackled the junk drawer and renamed it the Useful Drawer!

When I did my walk through I noticed my house does feel lighter! I’m most proud of keeping my kitchen counters clean. I turned on my Gypsy playlist, my new favorite pair of heels (they are covered in fake clear gemstones and sparkle so pretty!), and grabbed my tambourine! I hope using a tambourine instead of a rattle works? It felt right to me! Anyways I had a blast singing and dancing in the house. Thus is something I do often!

That brings me to my reward for this past week. A new tambourine! Now this might take some time because I need to touch it before buying…

My goal for next week is my Soldier’s bedroom. Since he’s going to be living in the dorms for so long I’m going to organize his room for when we move. He plans to come home next month for a long weekend and go through it one more time before we move. That room will only have his things. Thankfully the Marine is all moved out now.

This past week has really got me in higher spirits! Going to tackle the rituals and protocols in the next 2 weeks. Her that rhythm down!

  6. The thing I am most proud of accomplishing is cleaning off the back porch. Everytime I look at it, I feel happy and accomplished. My month goal is giving me some trouble. It is emotional/mental in nature. I am having a hard time shaking off the energy to let it go. The house feels lighter and the indoor plants are happier so I think it is going well. Thanks for the help with motivation! This program really helps.
