Day 5 – Great Release Program 2018 – Wednesday – Silver RavenWolf

Day Five of 2018 Great Release Program – 5 December – Wednesday
By Silver RavenWolf

4th Quarter Moon in Scorpio moves to Sagittarius – 5-hour void (approximately)
Wednesday– Mercury Planetary Ruler – Light a Silver or White Candle for Mental Wellness

Your Challenge Today – Clean out a drawer.  Any drawer.  Any room.

Just follow the primary rule: Throw one thing out.  No giveaways this first week unless you will absolutely take them where they are supposed to go.

Keep the comments coming.  Don’t be embarrassed or think we don’t want to hear.  The more, the merrier!!!

My Experience –Did you like today’s pic?  That’s my inflatable dragon!  He is my main Yule decoration this year.  His name is Frosty.  I spent yesterday afternoon setting him up (for the first time) and putting out the Yule house lights.  I’m a minimalist.  One string of lights.  One laser snowflake floodlight.  One dragon.  The end.

I cleared the porch of summer’s end stuff, cut the tops off the last of the pumpkins I grew and set the seeds to dry (I use the stems for poppets), burned paper trash, set up the decorations, and swept the back stoop.

Grandmother Spider **– The first summer I spent in our home in the woods a large orb spider spun a beautiful web from one porch post to another.  Every day I marveled at that immensely large web.  I would sit on the porch in the rocking chair and quietly contemplate that spider’s work.  I learned by observing how the spider maintained her web (usually only the females spin the webs).  She always constructed it the same way – clockwise and then counter-clockwise. I mourned when a behemoth bug blundered through it, creating a gaping hole that she quickly repaired.  I marveled that the web looked the same as before, with the same number of strands.  Over time, I began to see runes in the web strands.  Each day, the spider would consume the web in the early evening, rest, then spin a new one for that night’s drama.  Each day we consume what we have done, thought, said, and felt – do we not?

I watched as she wrapped bugs caught in her web, which for that day, changed the “conversation” of the web.  The adjusted pattern always carried new runes.  When the spider was through with carcass, she would cut the body loose.  She knew when to let go and let the trash fall from her existence.  Her awareness of the vibrations along her web earned my respect.  She understood whether wind, food, or debris touched her creation.

Over time I pondered that we all have our own personally created web, spun by our thoughts, emotions, and actions.  We generate our own network, we cleanse it, we cut things from it, we eat from it, we use it to draw information and manifestations to us, and we connect to others, all through our own energy weaving.  Like the spider, if circumstances are lousy, we even “cut our web and run” building a new web elsewhere.

When we acknowledge the existence of our Web, life changes drastically.  We see the “running” of energy to us, around us, through us, and from us.  It is almost as if you elevate your mind in one huge leap when you agree that your web exists and that you have the power to use it.

Nature teaches us all we need to know.  We just have to quietly observe.

How will you use our web today?

When you light that white or silver candle today, take the time to follow the web around you with a visualization.  How far does the energy go?  Where does it go?  How does it feel when you vibrate the web with your acknowledgment that your personal network exists?

  13. Do a mental review of your day before you fall asleep – make it quick – don’t let the mind stick.

**Wyrd (Wyrrd) is considered the matrix of fate, derived from spinning an individual’s actions, thoughts, and emotions into the journey of self – some see it as the web of life force energy – your personal destiny.  The Norns (Goddesses)– Skul, Verdandi, Urd  — (Should, Happening, Has Happened – Becoming, Now, Past – Wyrd) metaphorically spin the fate that you set forth.  To some, you are the Norns.  To others, the Norns are separate from the self, and seen as deity.

Until tomorrow!

Peace with the Gods
Peace with Nature
Peace Within

  1. Love your story today about the spider and it’s web – have always been fascinated by spiders – they represent creativity – thanks for this wonderful program — am enjoying it!

  2. When I first moved into my home here I Virginia—-I too had a beautiful—fist sized Orb Weaver—in My tomatoes plants. — she maintained her life in stealth and beauty and was one day gone. Like Charlottes web. I managed to clean a bathroom sink and toilet at the end of the day last night. Woot! That had been bugging me since my son was last here and left his beard clippings everywhere back in August. I was going to make him clean it over xmas—-too much has happened, so I did it. I feel so much better. Funny you have a Dragon with 5 flaming candles today—-I drew the Fire Dragon Druid Animal this morning🌬💋

    1. The orb weavers around here seem to move in cycles. They live about one year (according to my research) and their enemies include wasps and birds. I love when you can accomplish something that has been bugging you. Five extra gold stars!

  3. I really enjoy this program and how helps me center during this season. I admit Im behind, but Im ok with that. Wicked head cold has me adjusting my speed.

  4. Thank you Silver once again for this yearly gift. I think the most important task to me is the “throw one thing out” daily reminder. It’s as if I’ve been given permission to really do that, and it’s so freeing! Thank you again for all that you do for us!

    1. I am always amazed at how a small action can have such a big impact in our lives. You have reminded me that too often when we feel overwhelmed, that we forget that a tiny shift can bring monumental good fortune! Thank you for reminding me!

  5. I just want to say how much I love and look forward to this program! I began in 2015 and I believe this program alone has been instrumental in my growth, healing and a huge shift in consciousness for me and many people that I know and have had the opportunity to ‘counsel’ through my Tarot work. I do my morning ritual everyday and have have done so now since December of 2015! I have added some things to it, but it basically follows those things I have learned right here in The Great Release programs. Thank you so much, Silver, for taking the time to do this!

By the way, today was the first day I remembered to say my special symbol word. I chose the word foxy, because as I was contemplating what to select I was turning my calendar page to December and there appeared a picture of a baby fox (kit). I immediately thought of my late father as my Dad loved foxes and was a foxy guy in many ways. Last night I had a lucid dream where I was with him in some kind of a long-hauler’s truck transfer station. He looked like the father I remembered in his elder years, except in the dream he had grown his silver gray hair down to his feet. He was asking me to braid it for him. I began to braid it and I awakened at that point in the dream, but I immediately thought and whispered, “foxy, foxy, foxy!”

    1. I am delighted that you are enjoying the program! I have been having lucid dreams, too. Also my father. How very interesting! I love the Fox – absolutely perfect!

  6. Well I only have 2 drawers ( in my dresser ), but I do have lots of shelves… so I’ll work on shelves today. I try to spend time outside every day ( much to my cat’s delight, he only gets supervised outside time). Thanks for the program.

  7. Twenty golden stars since the beginning! Bought a perfume 🙂 wow! Had not time to be in nature but observed the behaviour of my enemies at work and discovered who is in their tribe and how many are they . Aritmethics and numbers today resonate with number 9 🙂 this is great! End of a cycle …guess…who is the winner. The winner is the one who is riding the proper wave 🙂 Love You!!!!TY

  8. OK…so, yes, I’m due some money but it is literally pouring in this week in a very fluid way …. debts settled, a MAJOR payout received and $75 won in a prize draw! And that’s just incidental….my goal was to prepare the house for future good times! Looking forward to everything and learning so much.

  9. A true marvel this Great Release 2018. The thought and time put forth to create this program is genius. Thank you a thousand times.
Love the fact your a minimalist!

  10. Still going along well… been a bit sluggish but I think it’s mostly the warmer weather (I’m in Australia). Drawers taken care of. Still diligently working on my study. Not sure if I’ll finish it in time, but it won’t be from lack of trying! LOL I knew it was a massive job when I started.

I love the spider story. I love watching the blue tongue lizard that lives under the rocks at the side of my house. He just allows his world to move past him. Sun the right temperature? I’ll just lie in that for a while. Nice insect moving past me to eat? Excellent! He’s very cool 🙂

Oh, and Frosty the Dragon is awesome!

    1. I love that there are people from all over the world sharing in this wonderful adventure with Silver Raven Wolf but I want to say hi to Elizabeth Ross as I’m from Australia too. I write the things I need to do for the program in a journal and stick gold stars on the completed items on the list. One of Grandmother Spider’s children (a small jumping spider) lives in my bathroom even before and after the renovations to it, it keeps my bathroom free of any insects as there are lots of those in Oz. Spiders are awesome creatures! After all this decluttering, I’ve got lots of empty boxes that have to go and because of all this extra space the cleaning is easy. Thanks Silver!

    2. I like the lizard. I felt — contentment. Peace at just being. as you were describing him. My craft room is going to be like your study. I’ve been avoiding it, lol. I thought about it yesterday, which is a good thing, because for me, it starts with an idea that I let germinate in the brain for a bit, and then move on the concept.

  11. I have yet to have a day where I am able to complete everything..LoL..but I’am keeping on with always throwing something away. And the clearing of the day. My goal this week is to clear out this large filing cabinet. I have put it off for years because of the physical memories stored in it. As I knew it was going to be emotional to go through it, I just let myself feel happy or sad and then I let it go! As I got to the back of the top half of the filing cabinet this evening I found $429.00 dollars!!! I had stashed probably 6 years ago to not spend it and then forgot about it!! I still have the bottom half to do but I’am very proud to finally do this and face the emotions in the cabinet….

    1. This is absolutely amazing, Alisha, and I am so proud of you! Whoot! on the prosperity, lol. Thank you for sharing that you allowed yourself to experience the emotions, and then let them go and move on. So helpful to all of us! Thank you!

  12. I’m just jumping in to the great release. Three days ago I hit a weight loss milestone of 50 pounds in just under 5 months (today is the 5 month mark). I’ve had so many releases: frustration, despair, self-doubt, shame, embarrassment, and the material thing such as clothes. It’s been an amazing journey so far with only 25 pounds to go. I have a permanent bag We jokingly call “For Don,” short for “For Donations,” that we add stuff to almost daily. It does get taken to a donation center 2-3 x a month.
Today, I cleaned out several areas at work, and was even able to take some things to a local preschool for craft supplies.
Well, I’m thrilled to be on board here now. My big goal this week is to focus on giving to those who need a little something.

    1. We are delighted to have you with us! Whoot! Whoot! on the weight loss! I’ve learned that the stagnation in overweight and weight loss comes from emotional damage and bondage, wherein you are feeling the victim/pain about an issue(s) and build up energy to protect the most harmed chakra — that is why I developed the Rattle Bath — to help you loosen and shed the energy so that the pounds can come off faster. So glad you have joined us!

  13. I saw the spider web today, while putting my shoes on. Spider web is between the fridge and the wall. But in this combination, between fridge and wall the web looks like a Labyrinth. I am not sure, if it is so god to have it?

    1. That is entirely up to you, lol. I don’t clear all the webs out of the house and I know the spiders pick up bugs. I have a two out of the way spots that when I clean? I leave the little spiders. To me, they capture negativity.
