This Week’s Theme — The Empowerment of Self

On Day 12 you were given the challenge of designing a Five Rays of Joy program tailored just for you– a set of magickal steps you will use each morning as soon as you wake up.  This activity is designed to boost your self esteem and magnetize the field around you with positive, uplifting energy.  This week, try your best to use your Five Rays of Joy sequence first thing in the morning, and any time you are feeling depressed, stressed, frightened or unhappy.  Focus on the positive.  Take deep breaths, and if you run into an extremely stressful problem, run your hands under cold water while breathing deeply.

If you like, continue to use the Peace Prayer in your daily activities (located in Day 2 of the program) and and Peace in the Moment visualization.  When you have finished with this week’s theme exercise, move on to today’s fun activities!

  1. the house is cleansed and consecrated the negative energy has vanished the air is pure my intentions are clear. The next year is near and I know it will be great. my chakras are cleansed my aura s how the colors are so beautiful and positive. From the halls of Mesoptomia to the Ancient teachings of Egypt and India and the warmth of the lord and the lady reflecting white and gold light down on me as I dance the Shaman dance and move in the circle surrounded by the watchtowers and the planetary hours and inhale all the magickal powers I now go out to nature and breathe in the pure air and take a moment to relax and smell the fragrance of the flowers knowing that its a great year to come and all is well.Blessed Be Silver hope all is great with you and again thank you for your teachings as always you are a wonderful and beautiful person. your friend Paul

  2. Since I didn’t do the walk yesterday, I chose a stick I had been seasoning (for carving potentially) for a couple of years now. I am sure hubby will be glad to have one of the sticks from above our kitchen cabinets gone! I added some paint for accent, then tied on tons of little bits of string (all the ends and leavings from previous braided jewelry and other things of that sort, lots of bits of embroidery thread). I also added in some elastic-stuff I had clipped from an old shirt (the long loopy bits they add to keep shirts from falling off of hangers, I hate those and cut them out of pretty much anything I get). I had been holding onto it for ages, thinking I would be able to make something out of it. The same with the thread. And I decided that I could use it for this, and that would also serve to use it up so I wasn’t still holding it.

I also tied on a couple of fancy brad’s (the little things with two metal ‘arms’ that you can put through papers to hold them together). I have a bunch of little stars, so I picked a blue one to add. I also had some with those Chinese coins on them. I used a pair of jewelry pliers to bend the arms into little holes for the thread, and tied them on. Then tied a bell onto the end.

Finally, took a bit of lace ribbon, and tied it around the middle (sort of a hand hold). It is very colorful, and the paint shows through with a bit of shine on the ends (one end is painted silver, the other gold) and there is a pretty big swatch of pink paint showing through near the center…and a rainbow of colored thread with lots of dangling ends! It’s quite pretty🙂

Jera always reminds me of the wheel of the year, and definitely that song “for everything there is a season”. I think that a lot of times big projects are hard to keep on track because they are so slow to build. We can work and work and not see any result, because we are living it day to day. Then one day we look up and it is done and fantastic! Kind of like how when you are working out everyday, you might not notice any difference in the mirror, but your friend who only see’s you once a month stops by and the first thing out of their mouth is, “Wow, you look amazing!”
