This Week’s Theme: Stillness
Think of nothing for as long as you can. As each thought tries to pop into your mind, take a deep breath, and envision the thought turns to liquid and melts away. Try to practice this three times a day.
In total stillness — there is great potential.
Hail and Good Morning! The Moon is Void most of the day, her energies turned within rather than lighting up the universe with her normal chatter. As it is a holiday for many, simply sit back, relax and let the energy flow. If you encounter negativity from others, see it for what it is — a behavioral problem that you don’t own. Don’t capture that negativity and hold it. Instead, let it flow right past you and out the door! If you are feeling anxious or overtaxed, stop whatever you are doing. Walk away and divert your attention to something else — something joyful. Breathe deeply. Hold your hands under running water if you can. You can close your eyes, and repeat: “Peace with the Gods, Peace with Nature, Peace Within”. Use the Heartbeat Meditation we tried the other day if necessary. It is simple, easy to remember, and works quickly. By making the effort to walk away…moving…you are breaking up the negativity that you are gathering and fueling in that space simply because of your focus of moving to release. As you move, let the anger or frustration go so it doesn’t continue to build.
