This Week’s Theme: Stillness
Think of nothing for as long as you can. As each thought tries to pop into your mind, take a deep breath, and envision the thought turns to liquid and melts away. Try to practice this three times a day.
In total stillness — there is great potential.
Hail and Good Morning! The moon is void most of the day, even though she resides in Capricorn. When the moon is void she is concentrating within, and is not sociable with the other planets. Today is a perfect day for “Stillness” — and in that stillness, recognizing the true joy of life. Today’s Challenge is a simple meditation, designed to use the exercises we have been doing for the past three weeks.
Today’s Challenge — Sit quietly and take several deep breaths. Close your eyes. Relax. Find the stillness, and this time see that stillness — that peace — as white or light blue light. Allow this light to manifest feelings of joy, love, and peace. As soon as you capture that feeling, imagine that you are a pool of light yourself (meaning body, mind and soul coalesce into this energy — united in peace) and allow that pool to gently flow out into the universe. Rather than trying to “direct” the energy with your mind — this time let the energy flow from your heart. It will happily do this on its own. In this moment you have become the heartbeat of humanity. Share the love.
When you are finished, hold the candle mentioned above in your hands and allow this same feeling to flow into the body of the candle; then, blow on the candle three times with deep, even breaths, and light the candle, saying: “I empower thee for personal peace. Wax and wick, flame and breath, peace be within — no evil left.”
Then, today, do one act of charity.
