Practice sending one positive thought to someone you love three times a day.

Hail and Welcome!

We are rolling on the downside of the program!  WHOOOOWEEEE!  Today is underwear day!  Yup, that’s right.  Underwear day!  People don’t often think about their clothes holding negativity.  Your clothing is a barrier that absorbs your feelings from the inside and negativity from the outside.  Different fabrics do react in variation; however, our focus today is about our underwear (regardless of the fabric type) — because it is the clothing that sits the closest to our root chakra.  Today, we go through all the old underwear and we throw out all the yuckie undies and replace them with new ones.  Except, this year, we have a bit of a twist — we’re going to use a Braucherei technique — so you will need a pot, an old pair of underwear, water, and some salt.  Now, as an aside, if you are the commando-type person, you will have to choose some other clothing, preferably something that can fit in the pot.

Today’s Challenge — In Braucherei (Pow-Wow) if you want to remove negativity attached to someone, you boil something that belongs to them — preferably, their underwear.  Now, if you want to catch a cheating partner — you put an assortment of herbs on the crotch of the underwear, and you burn them.  But, that’s not what we’re doing today (supposedly).  Today, we are removing negativity that has attached itself to us.  To do that, we’re going to spit on the underwear, command that all negativity attached to you is banished, and boil that old pair of underwear in salt water!  While yer drawers is boiling, you chant as long and as hard as you can to banish all negativity that has attached itself to your person.  When your mind wanders — you are done.  Allow the pot to cool and throw the hole mess out!  If you like, you can add essential oils to the pot — like lavender, OR you can add rosemary herb.

Where did this underwear technique come from?  How do we actually know that Pow-Wow’s did such a thing?  Interestingly enough, there’s a story in an old newspaper that talks about a man whose wife had left him and he wanted her back.  He visited a Pow-Wow who told him to bring a pair of the woman’s underwear to the Pow-Wow’s home.  He said to the man (and I’m paraphrasing here), “I boil the underwear and all evil will be banished.”  In the story, the man was disgruntled because his wife never came back; and, therefore, he said that the spell didn’t work.

Didn’t it?

What chant can be used?  Any banishing chant you like.  To keep things simple, you can use the Evil Be Gone Chant:

Evil be gone
Do not return
The horse has run off
And the bridges are burned

OR

you can simply say:

Banish the evil no thread can come back
The pathway is broken, no way to attack.

OR

The evil is broken, I boil it away
Good Health is restored with the light of this day.

(or Good Fortune, or Good Times, or Harmony — you choose).

The third chant is to be done at dawn, as the sun rises — the other two could be used at any time.

  1. Merry Meet Silver just wanted to say this release program is a great way to banish all the negative n bind all positive. In a sense its a lot like the story of the Queen of the witches where she went to the underworld n took important items with her n also gave them away I won’t go on n on bout it. But im so glad ur doing this still very inspiring n so awesome of you. BB Silver.Ps stay warm.

  2. Laughed to myself when I saw the title of tomorrow’s release in email. Glad you covered the commando option. I’m going to boil or burn (haven’t quite decided) a piece of clothing that I find unflattering. I’m hoping that it will banish my negative self image in addition to all the other negativity that I’m “sitting” in.

I’m also going to boil a pair of my roommate’s underwear when he goes to work hoping it will banish the negativity that prevents him from being more conscious of his messiness.

The positive energy I’m trying to channel when I do these activities must be making its way into his “field” too, because he actually started cleaning up some of his “collection” ….either that or he knew I was serious the other night when I told him I’d “clean” up for him. He thought my reasoning to clean out under the bed (to facilitate positive energy flow and promote restful sleep) was bs, but he did it. It’s not finished, but it’s much improved.

Tomorrow will be a good day. Bubble, bubble everyone….bwah ha ha!

  3. Silver, I’ve been meaning to tell you how beautiful your artwork for the GRP is again this year. I’m loving the crows and the vibrant colors.

  4. So glad my husband is also Wiccan. Otherwise the site of me boiling undies might alarm him! I’m really excited about releasing all this negativity and accomplishing my goals.

  5. I just wanted to let you know that since I’ve started the program this year, my sales have already increased and things that have been put off are getting completed with ease. I appreciate you!❤

  6. Haha! Just before reading today’s post, I was thinking, “Is she gonna have us go through our underwear this year?” Perfect timing too! I did today’s challenge but a bit differently. My man (who’s Birthday is today!! He’s out grabbing some movies to rent right now, lol) would rather not have boiling undies next to his cooking dinner. So I improvised & felt it worked just as well! Although I would love to try the true method soon. I like the idea!
Despite my hectic & long hour weekends, I’m still going strong & loving the challenge more than ever! I’ve been doing however much or little I can. My favorite was going through my old craft magazines & some books & donating them to the Assisted Living library where I work (I’m a waiter & diet aide there. I believe last year’s Program helped me find this beautiful & perfect job!!) if anything, I get the Morning Ritual done.
And speaking of the MR, I’ve been collecting the herbs I surround each daily candle with into one single container after each use. Come the last day of the challenge, I intend to turn them into a Great Release All Purpose Powder for the new year! I’ll see how it goes. Your book gave me the idea! Thank you!🙂

  7. All hail! Love the twist this year, fantastic. Got major shivers thru the chant and am grateful I was able to do the ritual discreetly. Also cleaned the blinds in our room that face the east so new opportunities are clear to come in. Worked on the tub and now burning the red candle.
Read this article online and thought I would share because it really hit home.
