This Week’s Theme: Focus

Pick a positive thought.  Hold on to it.  Retain it as long as you can.  Each day your retention period will lengthen.  You only need to practice!
Practice retaining one positive thought three times a day.

Today’s Challenge — For those of you who are involved in my Braucherei Program, today’s challenge will be very familiar.  It is easy, fun, and can be deeply rewarding.  Today, you are going to take  a Spirit Walk.  Before you leave the house, you ask Spirit to fill you with joy and harmony, and help you “walk off” something negative.  Thank the universe in advance for the special object you will find on your way. This object is a symbol of peace, love, courage, healing, etc.  Then, take a relaxing walk.  Let go of fear, worry, unhappiness and pain.  Accept the joy of the universe and the love that is all around you.  You can bring the object back that you find, take a picture of it and leave it there, or journal about it.  Leave the object, photo, or journal experience on your altar for at least 24 hours.  Then, give it back to nature or employ it in magick in some way.  What if you physically can’t walk?  Do a self-guided meditation and ask Spirit to bring something into your environment that speaks to you of peace, love, and joy.  Be patient.  It WILL happen.

That’s it.  That’s today’s work!  If you are super industrious, you can use any extra time to catch up on tasks you have missed, or find an area of your environment that needs planning or organization energy!  I’ll be working on the jumble in my craft room — ouuuu, scary place!  Or, maybe the closet — more scary place!

  1. okay, this is really synchronous. I was reading a novel last night and the main character needed to remember something and think it out. He went on a spirit walk. He tried to go to what he calls his “memory palace”– a place where he stores memories, like a library, for future reference. He ended up in his old hide-a-way where he and his evil brother used to hang out. Evil (now dead) brother had memories to share that he needed to hear. ANYWAY…..while I don’t want to go find an evil sister I don’t know I have, the idea of the memory palace was an interesting one, so I tried it. I have to build it first, but it is coming along nicely. This is when being really good at visualization come in handy.

  2. sorry today we are having the worst storm in 5 years with flash flooding and 50 mph winds and falling trees. . walking today is NOT on the agenda.

  3. I have been following this closely and already feel like a 2 ton weight has been lifted from me, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I encourage everyone to sort through all the chaos and clutter, and unburden yourselves ! Get back to nature, and the wonderful gifts it offets us. The things that really matter are not material, and can’t be bought. Blessed Shall We Be !

  4. This is a fabulous program! Just the magick I needed to rid our home of all the negativity we have encountered in the last several months. I even almost have the morning ritual memorized 🙂
I am curious as to what should I do with the wax from the candles that I burn daily. I know in previous situations you can throw away, bury on your property, or dispose off your property.
Didn’t have any gold gliltter for yesterday…so I used puffy gold glitter paint on 3 holly leaves & placed them around the candle. After cleaning the cobwebs out…I felt great!! I look forward each day to the new challenge!

    1. Excellent idea on the gold puffy paint! If you burn the candles with positive intentions (to draw things toward you) you can use the wax in other spellwork. If are burning to banish, then the wax should go. Your choice on whether to keep or not has a great deal to do with how you feel when you hold the wax. Thank you for asking!

  5. Everyday when Im done cleaning my house I call Michael to the South quarter of my house n give blessings and protection I call Raphael from the East n blessings n protection Uriel From the North n blessings n protection n I call Gabriel from the west for blessings n protection that way all my quarters of the house r blessed n protected. I also light a red candle in the south rooms a yellow candle in the east rooms a green candle in north rooms n a blue candle in the west rooms. I also cast a protection circle in each room so everything is blessed n watched over. It works well n I have done this every year BB

      1. Im so happy ur still doing this Silver it helps so many people. I remember when I first started this it got me into very good habits n feel so blessed for all u did for me n what ur still doing for others. Thank You Silver. BB

  6. Was playing catchup again! But cleaned house yesterday, and got to the cobwebs in the corners..and while I was up there, cleaned off the top of the fridge and above all the kitchen cabinets.

I keep some decorative stuff up there, and with all the cooking, it gets pretty greasy….but I never realized how much dust gathers up there too!

Also, finally figured out a way to clean some wooden scrolls I have hanging in the kitchen!!! They are painted wood, and held together with string, which was starting to collect dust bunnies. I never wanted to wash them (wasn’t sure how they would take to water), and just wiping them with a cloth didn’t get the dust off the string. But I took one of the old, soft toothbrushes I keep for cleaning and gave them a sweeping with it! Worked like a charm 🙂

Old toothbrushes are great for cleaning tiny crevices and delicate statues as well!

    1. I like the old toothbrush idea! Thank you so much for sharing! Don’t worry about falling behind. There is no behind — only where you are and what you can do. Keep going. You are doing wonderfully!

  7. I saw this last night and since it was after midnight, I decided to talk my walk then. what an awesome adventure it turned out to be. I took my dogs with me and for once in their lifetime (okay HE is always quiet unless there is a reason, SHE is a barker) they were quiet the whole time. Wonderful time. thank you for haiving this be a part of it

  8. On my Spirit Walk, was very aware of the sound of rushing water down the street into the grates from the snow melt. It could have easily been a mountain stream, a forest brook – the cleansing sound of CHANGE purifying the street. To appreciate change instead of perceiving it as loss – an ongoing lesson for this Taurus.

  9. I remember this from a past challenge……..
On my walk I picked up things that my inner voice said to pick – and yes I almost always listen to my inner voice. My find was evergreen, red berries, a stone, pine cones, and a red/white string. I think the string was something that fell from the garbage truck because I found in in the middle of the road. Anywho, what a great find. The artist in me instantly went into ‘create mode’, so busy I got.

  10. I went on a spirit workout after I hit the pervervial brick wall today. I listened to the same song over and over again. “Listen” by Beyonce which was appropriate given the circumstances at home. Feeling like I don’t have a voice when dealing with blended family issues is incredibly frustrating. This issue arose last year and the year before. It is an ongoing struggle to find balance, accountability, and patience. My heart is still heavy with sadness and disappointment which is a good thing because no emotions are being buried or ignored. Everything is front and center. Love and light and peace and joy. Jennifer

    1. Mending and repair. Spoke with a dear friend. Then took sometime to listen to more music and meditate feel lighter and clear. No decisions at this time but this isn’t something for me to decide and I am comfortable with this position.

    2. Try this: “By the Power of Venus I bring love and joy to my heart, mind, and body. By the Power of the Sun, I succeed in doing the right thing. By the Power of Saturn, I banish sadness and disappointment. By the Power of Jupiter, I experience the Great Love of Spirit” — say it three times.

  11. I didn’t realize how much I liked/needed some daily energy work to keep things flowing, and I’m making it fun. The walk was beautiful and I’m a few blocks away from the mountains with trails, so I felt some profound energy. I didn’t find an item, but I saw a blue bird and they are very special to me.
