Great Release Challenge — Day 29 — Saturday

Great Release Challenge – Day 29 — Saturday

Only three days left in the program!  I am so proud of you that you hung in there!  2013 will dawn bright and sparkling, now that you have consistently worked to open the way for new opportunities, success and happiness in your life!

Today’s mental challenge is a contemplation on words, particularly those spoken aloud.  With every word you utter you change or support your current and future life circumstances.  What you think constitutes the power you have within.  What you utter out loud doubly impacts the dynamic of the sea of potential around you.

Your challenge today is to write down 20 words that exemplify what you want to draw toward you.  These can be physical items such as a car, a computer, or money to pay the oil bill; or, they can be of a spiritual nature, such as patience, compassion, acting with honor, or trying harder to do the right thing.  After you have your list prepared, light a white candle, intone your Braucherei Morning Prayer.  Follow with your sea of potential exercise.  Then, state clearly, your twenty words.  Listen to the sound of them as they leave your lips.  Rolls them over your tongue and form them into a mantra.  Feel the power of the spoken word as you firmly let the sound vibrate in the air.  When you are finished you have two choices – save your list and continue to intone the words every day for at least the next seven days; or, burn the paper.

What you say (or write, or think) always comes back to you.  This is the nature of the universe.

Speak wisely.

After today’s challenge, you have only two days left in the program.  I reserved these days to tackle anything that you would like to clear or complete by the first of the year.  Perhaps there is something on your wish list, or a project you started and would like to finish.  For me?  My office/studio will be my focus, which I’ve been chipping away at; but, have never finished, (I actually managed to close the closet door today) and the revitalization of my Etsy store (which has been inactive since we moved).    Whoo-hoo!  On Day 31, we’re going to do a short closing ritual to honor the time, thought, and work you have put into the program and work on preparing the way for an excellent new year!

(1)   Do your Morning Braucherei Ritual and light your goal candle.

(2)   Do Today’s Mental/Spiritual Challenge.

(3)   Practice your Sea of Potential Exercise

(4)   Get ready for tomorrow!

Tomorrow:  Finishing

Give yourself One Gold Star if you remembered to do your morning ritual.  Two gold stars if you completed today’s challenge.  Three gold stars if you did a speed cleaning exercise.  Four gold stars if you deep cleaned anything.  Five gold stars if you actually remembered to reward yourself during this program.

  1. I really, thoroughly enjoyed this whole Challenge, yes it was hard sometimes, it was painful, both physical and mentally, there were day’s that i thought I’ll just give up, but then found myself scrubbing away at something or organizing, sometimes i just let go of something, to worry for a moment about it later, but it’s gone and i cant say i miss anything that i let go off (so far). There are still some places i did not get to, but it’ll come I am on a roll now. Ive learned a lot about myself, Ive met some really wonderful interesting people, got some valuable tips. Id really like to stay in contact with the people Ive met here. Id like to exchange ideas and tips.

Ive read some of your books. Solitary Witch opened my eyes to myself, while I was reading it, I started to understand the things I do, I always thought I was “weird” for doing the things that just came naturally to me, until I stopped fighting it. My niece gave me a book to read, your To Ride A Silver Broomstick. I thought it funny to get a lecture from a teenager….. and a book for teenagers. (Gosh she’s younger than my daughter) Later when I asked her why she gave me that specific book, she said it looked as if I was lost…… Then she took me to the shop where she got it (hidden in a backstreet in Pretoria). I felt at home immediately. Hubby gave me some money then, the first thing i bought was Solitary Witch, then candles and incense, a pentagram, and a star of David. Also a lot of pots with herbs in that looked interesting (some of which I haven’t used till this day. lol) That was 5 years ago.
But Ive done strange things since i was a teenager, like slipping out of the house to sit under the Moon in the middle of the night, burning incense without even knowing why, or what it represent. It just made me feel better.

My Father showed me how to dowse for water, when I was a child, he learned me about different “bush” medicine, he talked about lay- lines, learned me to whistle up the wind (I like doing that). But he never ever said anything about Hexery, and now he’s gone and I cant ask him why he showed me all these things. He always planted according to the Moon, I remember he tried to explain to me about the phases of the moon, but I was very small, and didn’t get it then.

Rambling, i know it’s not the place for it.

Ill, burn a candle for you, once a month as long as I am able to, wishing you health, happiness, good workings and the best of everything good in your life.
    😀 (or something better)

    Sunny Love.

  2. Thank you so much for this idea! I confess that I haven’t been following it verbatim, but I have done one thing each day to make my living space more organized, less cluttered, or just cleaner. For the first 13 or so days, there was no difference… then – wow! All of a sudden I felt empowered! Projects that had been overwhelming were suddenly very ‘do-able.’ Now, with only 2 days left, I am nearly out of things that need organizing (this is a miracle!) and finding myself looking for the next 30 day project. 🙂

  3. This challenge of thinking about what you say brings me right back to the quote I post just a short time ago from Tao Tze….

Watch your thoughts they become words

Watch your words they become actions

Watch your actions they become habits

Watch your habits they become character

Watch your character it becomes your destiny

I am so drawn to this quote not only for me but for others I am around. We all need to spell check our brain sometimes and get it in order before we open our mouths. I am guilty of this but I am a work in progress.

  4. I forgot to say that this was an enlightening experience as I put the words down on paper…..Many of the words I chose to write down are my focus for the future, release from the past, and work for today!
